I learned that the Name of the Style of Cab on all of EMD’s M, I, & MAC locomotives is called the Teardrop style Cab. In my opinion, it is a great looking cab. And it even compliments well with the Big radiator at the back.

After filming this that day, I rode the Bald Knob trip the next day. They used Engine #2 in this video and used Engine #11 on my ride the next day.

All of them repaired! 1. I got 1167 leading 62V yesterday. 2. 9110 has been rebuilt into a AC44C6M 3. 9523 got repainted as a horse head.

I lived on the top floor of the eddy inn and then moved into a small appt above Peter's Peter's appliance ..I loved hearin them trains go through...was very relaxing to me. wont say how much faster they went thru during the wee hours tho.. haulin' ass.

God I miss the old Conrail locos, it was always the coolest to see them combined with CSX and NS units which made for some nice colorful lashups! Real pity NS couldn't have left just a couple CR units be, consists by comparison today look very stagnant and dull without them for sure

Where was this NS freight headin? It would either be north on the Buffalo line or up the former D&H at the time CP's Sunbury line.

How did you get to that ATV trail? That's a really neat location?

SD80MAC when it reduced its notch from high idle to medium idle in 0:23 seconds in the video, the medium idle sounded like a 645 engine. In 1:08 secs, when it came to the lowest idle notch, it again sounded like a 710 engine....

I used to live in Peekskill ( I forgive the spelling!), its quite a view of the town, great shot of the train, u can even see Hudson Avenue, to the top, then to the right, and that would be my street! It was a BEAR of a hike up from school...:)
